2026 CSA Season Week Two
It’s already Week Two of the 2026 CSA Season! The weather is heating up and we’re harvesting beautiful produce this week for you to enjoy. Everything we grow here at the farm is organic and biodynamic, and when we include fruits from other farms (blueberries, apples, pears) those are organic as well. We’re excited to share the farm’s bounty with you throughout the summer and we look forward to tagging along on your food journey!
Half Share – Group B members, this is your week!

Have you joined our CSA yet?
We do still have shares available for this season, but they’re going quick! We encourage you to sign up now. Every share helps to support the farm and keep the CSA going. We appreciate all of your support!
We will still have full shares and half shares on the same schedule format as last year, so half shares will have a Group A and a Group B schedule on alternating weeks. Our 20-week season will again go from June to October, and prices for all our delivery options remain the same as the 2025 season.
We will have deliveries to Eugene, Springfield, Portland, Florence, Mapleton, Veneta, and Noti. As of now, all the delivery sites remain the same except the High Street location in Eugene. Our new site for that area will be on E 36th, at the home of one of our members, Karena Norton.
This is our second week of the CSA season- Sign up today so you can enjoy the amazing Winter Green bounty this season!
You can place your order for the 2026 CSA Season here.

Tips and tricks for a smooth season!
*This may be repeat information, but hang in there as we get the season going 🙂
- Help us keep everyone healthy by only touching your own share.
- Don’t forget to check your name off the list, so we know you got your share!
- Shoot me an email at least a week ahead of time if you need to change your delivery schedule. We require at least 7 days’ notice.
- Contact your site host before the 7pm deadline if you aren’t able to get your share during the delivery window.
- Please bring your own bag or box, so you can leave the farm totes at the delivery site. We would appreciate it if you stacked them nicely to help out both your site host and your delivery drivers!
- Keep an eye on your emails for information from the farm! Let us know if you aren’t getting them, as that’s how we communicate with you!
- Only take a box if your name is on the list. We only pack enough for the members listed, so if your name isn’t there, please contact the farm for a makeup during the next delivery or a credit to your account.
- Please do not take any extras at the delivery site unless your name is on them. We appreciate your cooperation!

Are you going on vacation? Let us know!
We do our best to plan ahead as much as possible to avoid any last-minute mistakes, so if you need to change a pickup date or a site, please let us know at least seven days in advance. This means seven days from the nearest change. If you’re changing a scheduled day from Friday to the previous Tuesday, we would need to know seven days from Tuesday to make sure our lists are accurate and that our harvest team can account for the changes.
If you anticipate any changes for the fourth week of delivery (the week of June 30th) please let us know by June 23rd. Any vacation requests for Week Four submitted after that date will not be able to be processed. Thank you so much for your understanding and help in keeping us organized!
We do have a few options for how to reschedule your boxes this season:
- You can reschedule to a different day and location in the same week to still get that week’s produce.
- For half share members, you can reschedule for an off week. For full share members, you can choose a double share for the week of your choosing.
- We can offer up to two vacation coupons to be used at any of our markets.
- You can have a friend pickup your share (we don’t need to approve this option).
- We can donate your share to Food for Lane County.
We are happy to oblige with all of these options, just please make sure to let us know as soon as possible. Thank you so much!

We will mostly communicate through email!
The blog will go out on Tuesdays. It will contain important announcements, what’s happening at the farm, what you can expect in your share each week, and recipes to help inspire your time in the kitchen!
You’ll also be getting an email on Mondays or Thursdays (depending on your delivery day) with an estimate of what you can expect in your box. These lists come from the harvest crew and are more of an estimate than a final list. Tuesday/Wednesday deliveries may not always be the same as the weekend deliveries, but we will do our very best to get you the veggies we promised for this season. If we don’t get you one week, we’ll get you the next week that vegetable is available.
(Please note: we can’t guarantee half shares will receive all the veggies offered throughout the season due to availability, but we’ll try our best.)
If you aren’t getting emails, please let me know! You can reach me at folks@wintergreenfarm.com, and I can check to make sure you’re on our list.

Please let us know if you need to cancel your share
We understand that things happen and you may need to opt out of your share this season. We get it!
In order to cancel a share and refund any qualifying payments, we will need that cancelation in writing. Non-payment or not picking up your shares without letting us know you’re opting out does NOT count as canceling and you will still be financially responsible for whatever shares have already been delivered.
In that same vein, if you signed up to pay by SNAP and have not confirmed your SNAP info or arranged another payment arrangement by June 1st, we will have to pause your share until we have payment information. If this pertains to you, you will have received multiple emails by now requesting that information. Please let me know as soon as possible so we can keep you signed up this season!
Please let me know if you will not be with us for this season so we can adjust your account accordingly. We appreciate you!

Celery, you’re lookin’ good!
Our farm crew is busy, not only harvesting, but also planting. Celery went in the ground this past week and it’s looking great! We’re anticipating a wonderful harvest later this season!

What’s in your box this week:
- Bok Choy
- Fennel
- Onion
- Carrot
- Spinach
- Lettuce
- Radish
Because it’s the beginning of the season, it’s a little on the smaller side, but don’t worry! By the time we get to the end, your boxes will be heavy and abundant!
Right now, we’re hoping to get everything to everyone, but if we aren’t able to get something to your site this week, don’t worry! We’re keeping excellent notes. If we don’t get you this time, we’ll be sure to get you next time!

Handy Tips:
- Bok Choy (also called pac choi): Refrigerate unwashed bok choy in a plastic container or loosely wrapped in a plastic bag. Bok choy keeps for over a week but is firmest and tastiest if used within a few days. Store bok choy stalks loosely inside a plastic bag in a drawer of your refrigerator. To prepare, slice stalks away from the base and wash, then separate the leaves (the green part) from the stalk (the white part), as they cook better separately. Slice and cook stalks as you would celery. Enjoy raw or add them first to stir-fries and soups.
- Fennel: Storing– Keep fennel bulbs in a perforated plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. If kept too long, they will lose their flavor and toughen. Preparing– Remove the green stems and leaves, saving them to flavor or garnish other dishes such as soups or fish. Discard the outer layer of the bulb if it is tough and cut away any discolored areas. Cut the bulb in half lengthwise and remove the base of the core if it is thick and solid. Gently separate the layers with your hands and rinse well to remove any grit between them.
- Spinach: Rinse spinach leaves in cool water and pat them dry with a towel or “spin dry” as you would lettuce. Store in a damp towel or plastic bag for up to a week. Spinach can be steamed, sauteed, eaten raw, or added to soups at the last minute. For long-term storage, you can freeze spinach, then blanch it for 1 to 2 minutes. Spinach cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook. Look for a bright green color. Two to three pounds of fresh spinach will reduce to two cups when cooked.
- Radishes: Radishes may need a good scrubbing, even after our crew has washed them, but do not need to be peeled. Trim off any damaged areas. Store them in a damp towel or plastic bag in the refrigerator. Store green tops separately, wrapped in a damp towel. Use as soon as possible.

What we’re making this week:
- Bok Choy– This quick Garlic Ginger Bok Choy is just one idea for a tasty way you can prepare bok choy.
- Fennel– We all love avocado toast, but if you’re feeling like you might wanna take your toast to the next level, have a look at this Avocado Toast with Citrus & Fennel. Let me know what you think!
- Onion– This crisp Cucumber & Onion Salad is simple to make and is a perfect side dish for your next backyard bbq.
- Carrots– Heads up! These Honey Glazed Carrots might become your new favorite side dish. The combination of the sweet and savory flavors in this recipe are the perfect match!
- Spinach– This Creamy Tuscan Chicken looks amazing! If you’re searching for new ways to incorporate spinach in your weekly menu, give this a go!
- Radishes– This bright Radish Slaw is fun and you can definitely get creative with this recipe. I recommend adding a bit of fresh lime juice and try adding this slaw to fish tacos. So delicious! (trust me, I tried it!) *pictured above*
- Lettuce– This homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette is simple to make and is my favorite for dressing all of my homemade salads. Here are a few suggestions for salad “add-ons” that go nicely with this dressing… thinly-sliced red onion, goat cheese, pecans (or walnuts) grated carrots or fresh sliced strawberries.
We look forward to hearing creative, new ways you’re enjoying your Winter Green veggies. Send us an email with some of your favorite recipes and suggestions!
